Attending the Festival

Festival Pass & Single Tickets
Each ticketed program corresponds to a screening number. To enter the screening, you must have the appropriately numbered ticket, which can be obtained individually or punched out on your festival pass. Please refer to the 2019 screening schedule, (available in early July) or to the catalog section “Films” for individual screening numbers.
If you purchase a general pass, you must still retrieve individual screening tickets for each screening you wish to attend by showing your pass at either our kiosk or at the screening locations themselves.
Festival Pass & Daily Ticket Prices
Daily tickets are €5 and festival passes are €25. Performances, parties, and discussions are free of charge, and open to the general public.
Festival Pass & Single Ticket Sales Points
Individual tickets and general passes are available for sale at SIFF’s kiosk on Miaouli Square in the center of Hermoupolis starting July 15th, 2019. Tickets may also be purchased individually, on-site at individual screenings.
SIFF’s kiosk is located centrally on Miaouli square in Hermoupolis, Syros.
During the festival, SIFF’s kiosk opening hours are 10:00-15:00 & 18:00-22:00.
GETTING TO SYROS
Ferry boats leave Piraeus every day for Syros and the journey lasts approximately 3 ½ hours.
Ferries also leave from other islands, though schedules may vary day to day.

Screenings & events locations
Screenings & events locations inside central Hermoupolis:
Festival screenings and events take place in or walking distance from the main port town Hermoupolis (where all ferries arrive). Locations include: Miaouli square, “Pallas” Outdoor Cinema (27 Chiou), “Pallas” Indoor Cinema (1 Karaoli and Dimitriou), Laoutari Café (18 Thermopylon), Tarsanas Shipyard.
Screenings & events locations 2019 outside central Hermoupolis:
Agios Athanasios (Ano Syros), Ano Syros Amphitheater (Ano Syros), Dellagrazia Drive-In (Iras, Posidonia), Komito Beach (Posidonia), “Manos Eleftheriou” Quarry.
For the screenings outside of Hermoupolis, SIFF provides free shuttle bus service, on a first come, first served basis. The buses depart from the Hermoupolis port (where all ferries arrive). For information on the bus schedule, please ask at SIFF’s festival kiosk on Miaouli square.
