TICKET INFORMATION 

Festival Pass & Daily Ticket Prices
Daily tickets are €5 and festival passes are €25.

Performances, parties, and discussions are free of charge, and open to the general public.

Festival Pass & Single Ticket Sales Points
Daily tickets and general passes are available for sale at SIFF’s kiosk on Miaouli Square in the center of Hermoupolis starting July 16th, 2019.

Tickets may also be purchased on-site at individual screenings.

INFORMATION & SALES POINT

SIFF’s kiosk is located centrally on Miaouli square in Hermoupolis, Syros.
During the festival, SIFF’s kiosk opening hours are 11:00-15:00 & 18:00-23:00.
Entry passes to screenings (Festival Pass for all 6 days of SIFF 2019, and Day Pass), and SIFF’s catalog and merchandise may be purchased at the kiosk during its opening hours.

 

GETTING TO SYROS

By boat
Ferry boats
leave Piraeus every day for Syros and the journey lasts approximately 3 ½ hours.

Ferries also leave from other islands, though schedules may vary day to day.
Please visit travel.viva.gr or contact a Syros ferry agency for more specific schedules.

By plane
Syros is also serviced by a frequent Sky Express flight from Athens, lasting 35 minutes, and by a frequent Astra Airlines flight from Thessaloniki, lasting approximately 45 minutes.

ON SYROS 

Screenings & events locations

Screenings & events locations inside central Hermoupolis:
Festival screenings and events take place in or walking distance from the main port town Hermoupolis (where all ferries arrive). Locations include: Miaouli square, “Pallas” Outdoor Cinema (27 Chiou), “Pallas” Indoor Cinema (1 Karaoli and Dimitriou), Laoutari Café (18 Thermopylon).

Screenings & events locations 2019 outside central Hermoupolis:
Ano Syros Amphitheater (Ano Syros), Dellagrazia Drive-In (Iras, Posidonia), Komito Beach (Posidonia), “Manos Eleftheriou” Quarry,  Tarsanas Shipyard.

For the screenings outside of Hermoupolis, SIFF provides free shuttle bus service, on a first come, first served basis. The buses depart from the Hermoupolis port (where all ferries arrive). For information on the bus schedule, please ask at SIFF’s festival kiosk on Miaouli square.

There are many hotels and guesthouses in Hermoupolis.
Car, moped and bicycle rental available.
Our local travel partner, Vassilikos Travel (+30 22810 84444) can be of assistance in booking additional ferry travel and car rentals while on the island.
